Buying another computer.

Buying another computer became a bit of a headache. When I was buying it over the net, there was a confusion over an account that would have been a problem with watching a tracking number with AusPost. Not only that, my computer went further north than what it should have.

After receiving the computer, there was a bit of a glitch switching it on. But that should be ok now.

The account mix up was going to (with how I understood it),  charge me three times as much as supposed to be an outstanding bill. After it got sorted there was only a small amount owing for the bill at hand.

I have learned that suggestions are not particularly welcome when there is a dilemma of ones circumstance in life. Maybe the person who is giving the suggestion may not realize to the full extent of what that person is going through.

I wonder who is wrong in a circumstance like this? Or another question may be asked… Should the person giving the suggestion be a bit more understanding before considering the suggestion?

I think walking circumspectly and be considerate of others on both sides would be more in line of how God wants us to be in difficult circumstances.

Computer Freight

Long hours were spent, to a Job I went
For Money, I would go from job to job
Till all my energy was spent.
Going home was a joy to stop
As my bosses were starting, they did not relent.

One day when pain was an issue;
A doctor was notified of my pain.
Off to x-rays, and they did show
Injury to my back was evident, as I lain.
Another career in the making was for me to know.

As time went on, my Job had to stop,
When a new life had to be started,
Career choices; I diligently had to shop.
As I looked deep into my mind; it could not be departed,
Training in computers my searching had stopped.

These look like TV’s, I thought, walking into the room,
I sat in a chair; bewildered I showed.
Start up your computers, came from the room of doom.
Where is the switch? I asked with my hand upright, slightly bowed.
On the side of the tower came the voice of assume.

During the course I thought; a computer I bought.
A Windows 3.1 was in the market.
I brought it home with much excitement I thought;
Getting on the Web was to be the target.
One day, not only out of date, it crashed; I was distraught.

Since that day, we bought another used computer;
With much learning, I sat with weeks on end,
Learning Windows 95 nothing would deter
Me from learning all over again
Until it crashed, disheartened I was, Again I had to defer.

As my Children grew, another computer was in need,
Considering the fact, to get another;
I looked at my budget; if I do, how can we feed?
We took it by faith we bought another;
Now we have three computers; needing them for school was seen.

We now get emails galore,
My inbox gets filled with mountains of information.
It so much frustrates me when spam is in their for sure.
What do spammers get out of it? Is it some stimulation?
It is amazing to me before windows 3.1 there was door to door.

With Windows XP; in my hands to do good,
Although with hours learning, has been great.
So much time in useless emails, trying to stop them, is understood.
Although my learning has been in freight;
I pray that I am faithful to my Lord for good
